Ananda Krishnan & Dharshini Priya's story
“Vandhaarai vaazha vekkum Tamil Nadu.” Tamil Nadu is known for making every guest feel welcome and at home. “Virundhombalukku peyar pona namma kalachaaram.” Our culture is renowned for its tradition of hospitality. Just like a culture that welcomes every guest with love, our story began with a simple introduction. Ours is an arranged marriage—two strangers who met, spoke, understood each other, and felt a spark that gradually grew into trust and respect. What started as conversations soon became comfort, clarity, and a shared belief that we could build a life together. With our families’ blessings and our own choice, we got engaged and are now stepping into this beautiful new chapter. A wedding is not just about two people—it’s about togetherness, laughter, food, memories, and love shared with everyone who matters. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you. Your presence and blessings mean everything to us.

Starting time (approximately): 7:00 AM
Venue and host contact details will be disclosed upon booking.
Wedding Ceremony
This wedding ceremony will be conducted in pure Tamil tradition, led by our own family elders. There will be no pandits and no Sanskrit chants—only Tamil sayings, values, and heartfelt blessings. During the ceremony, the groom will tie the Manjal Thaali (mangalsutra) three times to the bride, followed by blessings from elders and relatives. He will then apply kumkum to the bride’s forehead and the mangalsutra, marking a deeply meaningful moment of their union. After the wedding ritual, a grand Mangal Isai with Thavil and Nadaswaram will be performed—an emotionally significant experience for everyone present. This will be followed by a traditional Tamil breakfast, guest interactions, and photos. Lunch will feature a traditional meal with vadai and payasam. Later in the day, the bride will visit the groom’s home, followed by a visit together to the bride’s home, completing this culturally rooted and memorable celebration.
