The day begins with the thread ceremony where the bride sits in the puja and the threads(kalawa) are tied around her after the Ganesh puja. All morning programs will be completed with rituals and customs. After that, there will be a Haldi ceremony in the evening in which there will be dancing, singing and fun.

On this day, the bride will be applied mehndi as a mark of good luck, in which women from the entire village will participate.Everyone will apply henna to each other. There will be singing and dancing too
