Adithya & Ayushi's story
We met in college—two engineering students from different states, cultures, and backgrounds, never knowing that we were about to become such an important part of each other’s lives. What started with college conversations slowly became friendship, then love, and eventually a life we couldn’t imagine without each other. We travelled around Tamil Nadu, discovered new places together, shared countless laughs, and made memories that are uniquely ours. As life moved forward, so did we. We built our careers side by side, supported each other’s dreams, celebrated the little wins, and stood together through the harder days. Looking back, it feels special how two people from such different worlds found each other and grew together through every chapter. From college classmates to travel partners, best friends, and now life partners—our favourite part of the journey is simply having each other. Two different beginnings. One beautiful journey. One forever.

Reception
A typical Tamil-style wedding reception is a warm, elegant celebration where the bride and groom are welcomed and introduced as a couple. They make their entry, usually with music, and then spend the evening on the stage, meeting guests who come to bless, congratulate, and take photographs with them. Close family and elders may join for pictures, followed by dinner and, depending on the family, music or performances. It’s essentially a relaxed evening of celebration, blessings, family, food, and meeting loved ones.

Muhurtham
The Muhurtham is the most sacred and beautiful part of the Tamil wedding, filled with meaningful rituals, family traditions, and blessings. The bride and groom come together at the auspicious time, surrounded by their loved ones, as the groom ties the Thaali (Mangalyam) around the bride’s neck. Garlands are exchanged, sacred rituals and homam are performed, and the couple takes the Sapthapadi (seven steps) together, marking the beginning of their journey as husband and wife. The moment is celebrated with music, happiness, blessings from elders, photographs, and a traditional Tamil feast—turning the Muhurtham into a truly unforgettable celebration.
