About the hosts
Avtaar & Soniya's story
For eight years, they both lived in Dubai — just a street apart.
Everyday life carried on: the same skies, the same city, the same roads… yet their paths never crossed. Destiny, however, had a plan far more beautiful.
It wasn’t them who found each other first — it was their brothers, casually scrolling through a wedding portal. A spark was noticed in the profiles, a gentle nudge was made, and soon, a conversation began that would change two lives forever.
She, a brilliant Chartered Accountant, precise, thoughtful, and full of grace.
He, an IIITian, sharp, ambitious, and quietly charming.
When they finally met in December, the connection was instant but delicate — two hearts shy of rushing, yet certain of something real. So shy, in fact, that until the Roka ceremony, they never even held hands. And maybe that’s what made it even more special — a bond built not on grand gestures, but on trust, understanding, and a love that grew naturally with every conversation.
