Nitish & Vartika's story
Vartika and I met at a mutual friend’s birthday party and since I made the first move things got beautiful and we never looked back. After dating for almost 1.5 years we decided to finally tie the knots and here we are. Vartika is a dental surgeon by profession and I am a software developer. We are finally getting married and we can’t be more happy if you want to attend our wedding in the city of Taj Mahal i.e Agra. So save the date and hope to see you there on 21st April 2025

Haldi Ceremony
The Haldi ceremony is a pre-wedding ritual in Indian weddings, where a turmeric (haldi) paste is applied to the bride and groom. It is considered auspicious and is meant to bless them before their wedding.
Sehra Bandi and Departure of Baraat
Sehra Bandi Sehra Bandi is a pre-wedding ritual where the groom wears a Sehra (a decorative headpiece or veil made of flowers, pearls, or beads). It is tied around his turban by an elder male family member, symbolizing blessings and protection. Departure of Baraat The Baraat is the groom’s wedding procession, where he arrives at the bride’s venue, accompanied by family and friends dancing joyfully.
Wedding (Main Event)
Bride’s Welcome & Jaimala (Garland Exchange) • The bride’s family welcomes the groom at the venue with aarti and tilak. • The couple exchanges garlands (Jaimala) as a symbol of acceptance. Kanyadaan (Giving Away the Bride) • The bride’s father gives her hand to the groom, symbolizing his trust. • It’s an emotional moment where parents bless the couple. Mangal Pheras (Sacred Vows Around Fire) • The couple takes seven rounds (Saptapadi) around the sacred fire. • Each round represents a promise for their life together. Sindoor & Mangalsutra • The groom applies Sindoor (vermilion) to the bride’s hair parting and ties the Mangalsutra (sacred necklace) around her neck. • This marks her transition into a married woman.
