Haldi (हल्दी)
The Haldi ceremony is a joyful and colorful pre-wedding ritual in Indian culture. During this event, a special paste made from turmeric (haldi), sandalwood, and rose water is applied to the bride and groom by their family and friends. It's believed to bring good luck, purify the skin, and give a natural glow before the big day!
But more than that, it’s a time full of fun, music, laughter, and love. Everyone wears yellow clothes, sings traditional songs, and often gets playful by applying haldi on each other too.
We’d love for you to be part of this vibrant and meaningful celebration—it’s one of the happiest and most light-hearted events in an Indian wedding!
Sangeet
The Sangeet is one of the most fun and lively celebrations in an Indian wedding! Traditionally, it’s an evening full of music, dance, and joyful performances by family and friends from both sides.
It’s all about celebrating the union of two families through singing, dancing, and laughter. Everyone—young and old—joins in, whether on stage or on the dance floor!
At our wedding, the Sangeet night will also include our Engagement ceremony, where we'll officially exchange rings in front of our loved ones. This marks the beginning of our new journey as a couple.
Expect a night filled with colorful outfits, upbeat music (including Bollywood hits!), delicious food, and lots of unforgettable moments. We can’t wait to share this magical evening with you!
Day 2Tuesday, February 10, 2026Jaipur
Starting time (approximately): 10:00 AM
Venue and host contact details will be disclosed upon booking.
Phere ( wedding wows)
Phere (also called Saptapadi) are the heart of a traditional Indian wedding ceremony. 🔥💑 The bride and groom walk seven sacred rounds around the holy fire, each round representing a vow—love, respect, trust, support, and more. With every step, they promise to walk through life together, in harmony and partnership. It’s spiritual, emotional, and often the most serene part of the wedding.
Barat
Baarat is the most electric and high-energy part of an Indian wedding—it's the groom’s grand arrival, and it’s nothing short of a full-blown street party! 🕺🥁🎊 The groom arrives with his friends and family dancing to dhol beats and blasting music, often on a decorated horse (or sometimes a fancy car or even an elephant!). It’s loud, colorful, joyful chaos—and everyone's invited to dance their hearts out before the ceremony even begins.
Varmala
Varmala (or Jaimala) is a beautiful and symbolic moment in an Indian wedding where the bride and groom exchange floral garlands. 🌸✨ It marks the couple’s acceptance of each other and the start of their union. Often accompanied by music, cheering, and playful vibes (like lifting the groom or bride to make it harder!), it’s one of the most joyous and photographed parts of the ceremony.
Reception
The Wedding Reception is a grand celebration held after the wedding ceremony. It’s a chance for the newlyweds to celebrate their union with all their friends, family, and guests in a more relaxed, festive atmosphere.
At the reception, you can expect a beautifully decorated venue, elegant outfits, heartfelt speeches, live music or DJ, dancing, and of course—a delicious multi-course Indian feast! It’s a time for everyone to enjoy, congratulate the couple, take lots of photos, and dance the night away.
This is the perfect event to dress up, enjoy the vibrant vibe, and experience Indian hospitality at its best. We would love for you to join us and be a part of this joyful evening
