Main Wedding Ceremony (Vivaha) Mandap : A canopy where the ceremony takes place, with a sacred fire (Agni) as the divine witness. Kanyadaan : The bride's father gives her hand to the groom, symbolizing giving away his daughter. Pani Grahan : The groom takes the bride's hand, a voluntary union. Saptapadi (Seven Steps/Pheras): The most crucial part, where the couple walks around the fire seven times, taking vows for each step (food, strength, prosperity, family, health, friendship, loyalty). Sindoor & Mangalsutra : The groom applies vermillion powder (sindoor) to the bride's hair parting and ties the mangalsutra (sacred necklace) around her neck, symbolizing her married status. This will be followed by a Reception Oarty that will entertain with delicious food, music, dancing, and alcohol.
