Gobinath & Kalaipraba's story
Once just friends, our bond grew into a love so deep that we couldn’t imagine life apart. But when we decided to marry, everything changed. The bride’s family, once close to us, turned away, refusing even to let us talk. For three years, we fought, endured pain, and stood strong against all odds, determined to belong to each other and no one else. Now, after endless struggles, love has won. With blessings from our families, we are engaged and stepping into a beautiful future together. Our journey wasn’t easy, but it proved that true love withstands every storm. With joy in our hearts, we invite you to witness our sacred temple wedding, a celebration of love, resilience, and culture. Come, be a part of our forever!

Marriage
A Hindu temple wedding is a sacred and traditional ceremony filled with rituals symbolizing love, commitment, and blessings from the divine. The ceremony begins with Ganesh Puja, seeking blessings for a smooth journey ahead. The groom arrives in a Baraat, a joyful procession with music and dance. The bride and groom then exchange garlands (Jaimala), symbolizing acceptance of each other. Inside the temple, in front of the sacred fire (Agni), they take seven vows (Saptapadi), promising love, respect, and companionship. With each step around the fire, they commit to a lifelong bond. The groom ties the Mangalsutra around the bride’s neck and applies Sindoor, marking her as married. Family and priests chant Vedic hymns, blessing the couple. The ceremony ends with elders' blessings, followed by a traditional feast. It’s a beautiful mix of devotion, culture, and love—an experience to cherish forever!
